Let’s Scream For Ice Cream: 4-Ingredient No-Machine Circus Animal Cookie Ice Cream

So as you probably can tell, I love ice cream (who doesn’t?), and I love making ice cream flavors that aren’t available in stores. But what I don’t like, is working hours on a product when there is an easy shortcut. And here is that short-cut. No-machine ice cream is made with two ingredients (heavy whipping cream and sweetened condensed milk) and any additional add-ins you want! So when contemplating what new flavors of ice cream I would make, I decided to revisit one of the best cookies that brings you back to your childhood: Circus Animal Cookies! You know, those pink and white animal shaped cookies coated with sprinkles? So if you take ice cream, which is awesome, and Circus Animal Cookies, which are also awesome, you basically get an awesome explosion!

A Childhood Favorite, Supersized: Giant Ice Cream Sandwich

We all know and love those individually wrapped, single-serving, ice cream sandwiches. You know, those rectangular vanilla ice cream slabs sandwiched with a thin chocolate cake? The perfect combination of vanilla and chocolate is what really made these warm-weathered treats such a staple. But as we grow older, we want to innovate, we want to improve, we want to supersize everything! And that is exactly what I have done: I have taken the ordinary ice cream sandwich and elevated it to extraordinary! With three different flavors of ice cream and such a giant size, it is sure to impress both kids and adults alike!

We Love You Trader Joe’s: Molten Pumpkin Spice Cookie Butter Microwave Mug Cake

Just yesterday I raided Trader Joe’s of all the pumpkin foods they have for pumpkin season! And the greatest thing ever created I finally found (I know, I’m pretty behind in the world’s advances). It was like it was slow motion. The wind blew in my hair, an angelic light made my face glow. It was just me and … Pumpkin Spice Cookie Butter? Yes. Pumpkin Spice Cookie Butter. For those of you who don’t know (but I’m pretty sure you do know), Trader Joe’s cookie butter is like heaven. It is sweet, creamy and just plain dreamy. But they outdid themselves. Trader Joe’s has sprinkled that pumpkin spice magic all over their already perfect cookie butter and made it perhaps one of the best things that will ever hit your tongue. If you have ever tried the Pumpkin Spice Oreos, this cookie butter tastes legit exactly like the filling. So go. Buy it. Now. And naturally, as soon as I laid my eyes on this Pumpkin Spice Cookie Butter, the first thing that popped into my mind was “mug cake.” So here it is, Molten Pumpkin Spice Cookie Butter Microwave Mug Cake.

The Ultimate Birthday Treat: Death-By-Oreo Cupcakes

I have this thing I do. Basically, I bake a whole lot of sweets when it’s a birthday for any single one of my friends. Everyone gets a treat and celebrates the birthday girl’s special day together. But what’s kind of weird is I have a document that has my friend’s and family’s names on it filled with desserts that someday I want to make for that specific person based on their tastes and personalities. So when I’m surfing Pinterest, I jot down any dessert recipes that seem like a good fit for a specific friend or family member. I know that seems like a lot of work and is slightly creepy, but I find it really fun. Plus, I love to be organized, and this is a great way to organize recipes! So this specific friend’s favorite dessert is chocolate cake and she has this thing with Oreos, so what could be better for her birthday than Death-By-Oreo Cupcakes? Let’s get baking!

Cookie dough? Did someone say cookie dough? Yes, cookie dough, that stuff your mother always scolded you when you took a bit from the mixing bowl. Not in the base, and not in the dough. Yes, this is another recipe for no-churn ice cream, an ice cream so simple and delicious, even a novice could make! Bye, Summer: Homemade Waffle Cones

Ah, the end of Summer. A bittersweet moment where we say bye-bye to Summer and hello to Fall. If Summer was a person, she would be lively, fun, and always the center of attention. Fall would be that comforting, caring friend always at your side. That being said, I love Summer, but truthfully, Fall is my favorite season. I mean, hello? Pumpkin pie spice everything? Pumpkin everything? That sounds pretty good to me. But still, Summer deserves a special goodbye present for all the joy it has brought. So as a parting gift to Summer, I am doing a three-part segment that includes how to make homemade waffle cones, no-churn Nutella ice cream, and no-churn cookie dough ice cream! And you’re in luck because today you’ll be learning how to make subtly sweet, buttery, and crunchy waffle cones, the perfect vehicle for your homemade ice creams.
